Opening the camera, taking photos or pairing a pen never costs anything. A scan counts once the AI first answers it; if that fails, it doesn’t count.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it’s cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it anytime in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Can I cancel the Semester?
Yes, anytime. On your iPhone, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current 3-month period ends and it won’t renew; you keep the semester until the end of the period you paid for.
What happens if I reach the 1,500-problem limit?
The scan you’re on still finishes. After that, each new scan is a One scan purchase until your semester renews. 1,500 problems is about 60 practice worksheets, more than students usually need.
Do scans shared with me count?
No. A scan someone shares with you never counts toward your limit.
Is there a free trial?
There’s no free trial yet, but keep your eyes peeled: we’ll post codes on our social media and here on the site for a free scan, bonuses and discounts. Redeem them in Skimr → Menu → Membership → Redeem a Code.
What counts as one scan?
One worksheet: up to 30 pages or 100 problems, for 4 hours from when it starts. A scan is paid for once, so adding pages to it, retries and recovering it after a clear cost nothing extra.
